We only get married once. Because of this, we don’t have many opportunities to think about how we would have our wedding look; we tend to, instead, fall back on tradition because that’s all that’s known.
I specialize in creating completely unique, authentic celebrations that capture the spirit of the the people involved.
DAY OF COORDINATING
Whether you hand me the schedule or we create it together over time, hand it off to me and I will make sure it happens. This is true of weddings, showers, fundraisers; any event you need help with. I want you to focus on having fun and being with your people while allowing me to coordinate the “who what when how” of it all.
A previous client of mine (the groom of a wedding) mentioned how relieving it felt knowing that the hard work he and his fiancé had put into the day could be passed off and in good hands. I appreciate this and think people underestimate the necessity of a Day-of Coordinator. I applaud folks that are DIYers, go-getters, and creatives. Make your own back drop! Get your family to make the dessert instead of an expensive cake! Color code the spreadsheet! These are all great and innovative but once the day of the events actually comes, you cannot be both host and coordinator. This is my favorite part. Please, let me handle lovingly all the hard work you have already put in.
Enjoy your event, I got it ;)
PLANNING
I work with some clients for a year and others for just a month leading up to an event. I love to be part of every stage of the planning if you want me and bring a creative perspective. Especially when it comes to weddings, there is a lot to read and a lot of opinions. Let’s work together to make it what you want. No wedding party? Great! Dogs walking you down the aisle? Perfect!
Hire me for as much or as little as you feel you need. My mother is a costumer designer and I grew up helping her build costumes so I have an eye for fashion and can actually assist with some alterations. Planning activities I have assisted in before include:
Tastings
Dress fittings
Suit fittings
Location scouting
Save the Date creation
Ceremony writing
Bach parties and bridal showers
INVENTORY
In an effort to reduce costs for couples and clients, I offer my inventory as part of my services. I love shopping at thrift stores and finding gems. Overtime, I have collected numerous table cloths, vases, napkins, and décor. I am constantly adding to my stock and will also happily do the work to find something you need if I don’t already have it. My inventory is best for a party of 100 guests or less.
Fun examples I can offer include:
the game of Yardzee
3 chalk signs plus customized messages
lanterns
